Client: Department of Housing and Public Utilities and Construction of the Kamianske City Council
Location: 2 Stovby Street, Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk Region, Ukraine
Total Area: 10420,62 m²
Design Period: 2019 – 2020
The existing Building No. 20 has been out of operation since 2019. It is in poor technical condition and does not comply with the current Ukrainian building regulations.
The building’s spatial planning and layout solutions partially fail to meet the applicable national construction standards.
The reconstruction project is planned to be implemented in three phases:

Phase I: Reconstruction of the four-storey academic building, including the construction of a perimeter pavement.

Phase II: Reconstruction of the three-storey academic building, including the construction of a perimeter pavement.

Phase III: Reconstruction of the two-storey building containing the sports hall and cafeteria, including the construction of a perimeter pavement and comprehensive site improvement works, comprising:
- installation of external site lighting;

implementation of accessibility measures for persons with disabilities and other people with reduced mobility;
- construction of an event area;
- construction of an outdoor chess area;
- construction of a playground for primary school pupils;
- construction of a recreation area for primary school pupils;
- construction of a recreation area for middle school pupils;
- construction of a recreation area for senior school pupils;
- construction of a bicycle parking area;
- construction of bicycle paths;
- construction of a waste collection area.
The reconstruction project also предусматриes the strengthening, replacement, and restoration of the existing damaged structural elements, the reconfiguration of interior spaces to ensure maximum compliance with the current Ukrainian building standards (DBN), implementation of energy-efficiency measures for the building envelope, and complete interior finishing using modern construction materials.
